Yo ho ho and a bottle of BLAM BLAM BLAM

I'm not sure what to say about today. Met with Jon, showed him stuff I've been working on, he seems happy enough, that's good. When I left work around 7:30pm the Marlins-Cubs were 6-6, but I see now the Marlins won, dammit, oh well. Read more baseball book on the way home, and came home and played Puzzle Pirates all night. BUT rather than jumping crews I ended up spending the whole time with, of all groups, MY crew! Jamshid and Steve were on the first group I went around with, and then Alie and I took out a boat and it was a blast, eventually we ended up with Nykkel and Kiefer on our boat too, so it was all one big happy family, which was fun. At one point there was a bug, we'd plundered some ships yet for some reason had no money in the hold. Turns out that everyone had somehow overflowed the brigand economy or something and suddenly there was just no money to be assigned for plundering. Oops! Poseidon heard us out and then Cleaver fixed the problem. "I just put 7m more in the bank... Hope that takes care of it for you guys!" I went back to Namath and traded the gown I hate to Sorceress and ordered a pink gown instead, heh. Alie and I have matching sailor outfits except I don't have boots to go with mine - she was going to give me her blue boots but they don't match 'cause mine are navy, so I ended up ordering navy boots, too. And at that point I should have gone to bed, but Spinn said he'd be doing some plundering, and well, Spinn is a lot of fun, so... went on a plundering trip with Spinn and some people and it WAS a ton of fun. He even let me navigate! Wheeeee! Spinn blows the crap out of opposing ships, which is entertaining as heck, and it makes the swordfights that much easier. (Hence me going after a battle, rather than my normal "Yarrr!", "Yo ho ho and a bottle of BLAM BLAM BLAM!" which got a lot of laughs from the crew.) We made a ton of money and then quit for the evening. It was pretty fun, and as a result I decided not to jump crew and join the Bilge Rats (besides the fact that Farren wasn't on until late anyway).

I have this feeling I might go with a pirate costume anyway just because at least then I won't feel silly saying "Yarrr!" during Halloween. I still do want to make a Kiki costume sometime, but I might end up saving it for an anime con or something. We'll see.

YARRRRRRRRRRRRR! The funniest part is.. I'm wearing my Pittsburgh Pirates t-shirt today :)
