Wow, I'm actually updating on time! Woo!
Today we (me, Hemant, Colin, Aaron, and Tina) were going to go to Nikko for all-you-can-eat sushi for lunch. Colin drove us down there since he lives in the Westlake area and... we found out Nikko "closed for business" on September 1. Oops. So we went to Westlake's food court instead. I had a philly cheesesteak and as usual I just have to say... NOT IN PHILLY. NOT A PHILLY CHEESESTEAK. Hanging out and talking was fun though, and then work this afternoon was pretty good I think. The server/client code I wrote seems to work, and now I can do stuff with it and explain how it all works! Whee!
I was at work until like 7:30pm, then I took the bus home, then I have been doing housework and stuff. I am in the middle of laundry, and I also sorted my Japanese CDs, so all of my CDs are now sorted, and I have also been redistributing my metal buttons because my Plaid Power towel I'd been using to store them since leaving Kiltie Band was TOTALLY full. Eli and I ate shells'n'cheese for dinner, which of course made me happy but he was like "Hmm... not bad for scary yellow cheese substance."
You know, I was going to write a "wow, 2 years of LJ" thing but I dunno what to say. The best way to sum it up is to quote two September 19ths:

I think that's actually pretty representative of the state of my life in both time periods. Oh yeah, and I miss Carl.
