I am the short entry that took an hour to write

Hi. Today I went to work. It was BEAUTIFUL out. We all ate lunch outside, and I took some pictures of Mt. Rainier from our office. I went to US1 to configure my Linux box for a little while. US1 sucks sometimes. Yeah, so anyway, I love the new backpack for the laptop. Aside from that, eh. I finally got out my speakers to listen to the Mariners game, which was sadly not that great :( I caught a bus to the Seattle Center, gimping up my foot again chasing after rkane so I could ride the bus with him. Oh well. So I went to the Seattle Center and played DDR for an hour or so and then I got McDonald's food and then I came home and I played PPL (I'm up to stage 14 of S-Hard and stuck) and now.... whoa-oh, what I want to know is... where did the time go?

Oh yeah. I did get a few good scores at the SC, too. If you play DDR and don't have a weak stomach, click on this.

Also, as a heads-up - I think we are going to have a board games day here at the house on July 27th. I'll be sending out email sometime tonight or tomorrow, hopefully. If you don't get an email, it means that either 1) you are under 21 2) i don't think you like board games 3) i don't have your email address 4) you won't be in Seattle on that day anyway 5) i've been too lazy to send it out yet.

VOLLEYBALL!!!!!!

Wow, today has been fun so far. They had a big BBQ out on the south lawn, so I went down there with Hemant, Guido, Ryan, Colin, Yan, and Stephen around 11:30, we had lunch and hung out on the lawn... and then at 12:30 I met up with the people I'm on a volleyball team with for the "Amazon Amateur Volleyball Open". Ann Lewis had asked me to be on her team and we had a lot of fun. The other guys on the team (Ami, Jason, Scott, Matt, and Sam) are about as good as Ann and I are, so we played normal formation, front middle is setter, etc. We lost all of our games but it was still a lot of fun. I killed my thumb missetting a ball, but other than that it went pretty well, my serves and bumps were all reasonable and even my setting wasn't too bad after the first one. Pete Hill is a really good volleyball player, he has quite a nasty spike, I had no idea! Wow, and this is going to happen for the next two Fridays as well. Definitely something to look forward to :) I'm so happy to be playing volleyball again.
