Okay, so after getting to sleep ridiculously late and getting up ridiculously late I went to work. We had an interview to do at 1:30. The guy turned out to be way cool, so at least I didn't find myself drifting off or anything. I decided to spend the rest of the day in US1 doing random work rather than going up to PacMed. I ate a bagel and some sprite at lunchtime and kept it down okay, so for dinner I ended up eating chicken satay and rice from the thai place (I figured heck... chicken and rice couldn't be too bad for me, right?). It also stayed down just fine. I came home around 8pm.. decided to play Tetris Attack for 20 minutes just to make sure I was feeling fine enough to go back out. I was, so I caught [profile] kieferskunk on AIM, we'd talked earlier about going somewhere tonight for DDR... so he and I decided to go to IZ. Got there around 9:30. It wasn't too crowded, which was actually GOOD for LG3 practicing.

I went up with [profile] laurii for my first set. We did EOTC Heavy, which I botched, then Mako-chan STD (I got 6g SIGHTREADING, she got 7g - WHOA!), and Irresistablement STD (I got 11, she got 7). I got my 6-footer down to 13 and my 7-footer down to 11. Not that I expect to make it past the first round, but hey. So anyway... sessioned with Kiefer, played a whole TON of Pop'n'Music (yay!!), and a TON of DDR. I mostly took it easy and played slow 6-7 foot songs, really. And I saw some people... like Keevon was there for a while (and he got SCREWED by the pad on EOTC, blue flag), and Aaron was around, though I didn't get to talk to him much, and Allan, and Tada, and I think that's it? I actually felt pretty bad that I didn't do much talking to anyone... but first I had this issue with my sinuses being overstuffed and then I was having an issue focusing on DDR. Or focusing on anything, I guess.

Anyway, tomorrow is Let's Groove 3, a DDR tournament down at Paradise bowling lanes in Tacoma run by the lovely and talented [profile] travis_kun. Despite that I know I utterly can't do much in it - EOTC Heavy is the qualifier, and the first round is 32-person single elim, then it goes into 16-person double elim, and I won't qualify in the top 16 by any means... I expect to be out in the first round unless less than 16 people enter. Then I'll hang out all day and cheer for people, and hopefully get to hang out with [profile] diskozombie and whoever else feels like it after the tournament. I'm going to have my bowling ball in the trunk, too... if anyone else eliminated early feels like bowling :)

EDIT>
I feel like I should mention that my lovely and talented [personal profile] eub has posted pictures of a ball of baby spiders which is surprisingly cool-looking. He takes really good pictures. And he was really nice to stay up with me all last night and watch me puke, and drive me to work this morning.
