木曜日には。。。仕事、買い物、映画のこと。。。洗濯も
Mar. 7th, 2003 01:22 amOk, so anyway, this morning, Westlake, then work. LOTS of work, I was there until almost 8:30pm. I admit that I spent an hour zoning out around 4pm after having a long conversation with my boss about navigation. But still. So I finished it up! I think! CVS didn't want to accept part of it, but eh, it's all good, I'll straighten it out tomorrow and deploy it!
Eli gave me a ride home, and we went to Target because I needed socks (among other things). And I bought those super-Goldfish that Met got me hooked on, and I GOT DUCK BOXER SHORTS! THEY ARE SO COOL! I am wearing them now, because I was doing laundry. (Side note, right as I remembered why I was wearing them, I jumped up and yelled "FUCK!" and ran downstairs to switch loads of laundry. I wonder if it's worth staying up until 3am for the rest of it.) They are blue with lots of bright yellow duckies. Poor Eli, he hates shopping so much, but he put up with it anyway. Rawr! I hope they're not discontinuing mint Skittles - those were marked down, and I bought a whole bunch.
We saw the weirdest Hamtaro at Target next to the Hello Kitties. It was big and white and had these big beady Hamtaro eyes, and Eli was like "WTF is a Hamtaro?" and I was at a total loss for words. Instead I debated for a while about buying the adorable safari Kitties with their big parrot and alligator masks, but decided against it.
Uh, so anyway, we came home, and had tortellini for dinner, except that the spaghetti sauce was all moldy. Whoops. So I ate mine without sauce and Eli made some weird soy-sauce avocado-oil sauce for his, which was a little odd. Then after putting in my laundry, we decided to watch a movie. Being as, well, I own all of the movies here, I chose the movie. And I chose Rush Hour 2, which I had not gotten around to watching yet. It was a fun movie, I really liked it, ESPECIALLY the outtakes at the end. Chris Tucker's cell phone rings during a take, and he's like "WHAT? HI, CAN YOU CALL ME BACK LATER? NO! I'M FILMING, CALL ME BACK AT 7! WHAT? NO, YOU CAN'T TALK TO JACKIE CHAN." Heh, I love Jackie Chan movies so much. I was a little disappointed in Ziyi Zhang's performance though, it was basically like she was just there because she's all famous since Crouching Tiger. She's gorgeous, and a great dancer/acrobat/whatever, but not so much of an actress, in this movie, at least. Actually, I thought the best two random cast members were Jeremy Piven, who I've adored since PCU, and Don Cheadle was just hilarious.
Anyway, oh, this morning I picked up two more 3-D HK puzzles, and now I have at least one of each model! Yay! And Tanya actually *wants* to go with me to see the Sanrio art exhibit thingy, which I am PSYCHED for! (Okay, let's face it, Eli would have gone to see it with me, but I would have felt bad dragging him.) How cool is that? I can't wait, I hope they allow cameras in :) I guess there are a bunch of things to look forward to this month. DM5 at the end should be really cool. Well, unless people convince me to actually enter, then I'll probably get overly stressed over it. I don't know, I meant to talk to Robert tonight but decided to avoid my computer instead. Yeah. Anyway. Hi!
