(After I finished knitting my hat, Eli took some pictures of me. I actually like them, go figure.)

Anyway, today I went to work, and after work Eli and I got afghan food at Kabul, down on 45th street, and we went to Half Price Books, and then I came home and I've literally been sitting at the computer since. I suck. I at least sort of learned the PPP routine to Made of Fire, though I don't have the feet at all since I've mostly just done the arms while sitting on the DDR BBS chatroom and stuff like that. God, I'm retarded. I'm thinking of going to IZ Saturday for sure, and maybe tomorrow night if I have nothing else better to do... spend the off-DDR time on PPP, learning these routines before the tourney next weekend.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this part, but the coolest word I learned yesterday was "zeugma".

friday five

1. Do you wear any jewelry? What kind?
I hate jewelry, and didn't wear any until this year, but now I wear two things:
1) engagement ring on my left hand, which eli gave me in june
2) gold necklace chain thingy. it was my grandmother's (my dad's mother; and the necklace was a present to her from my parents, years ago). she died in august and my grandfather gave me the chain when I saw him in october. he gave me other necklaces, but this one is simple and fairly subtle, unlike a lot of my grandma's other stuff.

2. How often do you wear it?
i never take either of them off. i'd probably lose them if i did.

3. Do you have any piercings? If so, where?
i think my ears are still pierced, if they haven't grown back together. just one in each ear, i'm boring. and I barely ever wear earrings.

4. Do you have any tattoos? If so, where?
no.

5. What are your plans for the weekend?
If nothing else, I'm going to hang out at IZ all weekend to play DDR Extreme and PPP, stopping only for band rehearsal on Sunday. If anyone wants to do something on Saturday or Sunday night, they can feel free to let me know that, though...
