Sunday dinner, sort of

I bought a 27" TV today. I had a 19" before. It was quite a painful process. First was choosing between 27" and 31". Then was picking out a random TV. Then was getting it into the car. Fuck, TV boxes are big. We could not actually fit the box into the car any way we tried, so we took out the TV and put it in the back seat, and then folded up the box, etc, put it and the styrofoam into random parts of the car. Then we went to Central Market to get food for dinner tonight.

Dinner tonight was also kind of harrowing - I asked Eli to make eggplant parmesan, and it was a really annoying process. I tried to help out by making salad and pasta and stuff, but it didn't really, I don't think. At any rate, we had invited over some people, so we had dinner with people. Yay. thatmathchick came over, and we finally got to meet her, and jeliza and seanmcguire were here too. It was fun and interesting and we got to show off the house and DDR and our new TV and stuff.

Hmm... IIDX or sleep... tough choice. Nah. IIDX of course.

i hate it here. i want to go home.

well, right now I should have been at Narrows playing free PPP and hanging out with people and DDRing and having a jolly evening. but instead I am still sitting at work because Allan, who was supposed to give me a ride there, is an idiot who left his cellphone at home and made no attempt whatsoever to get in touch with me, and basically ditched me here. and by the time I figured that out, it was too late to do anything about it. I've had a lousy day here, I'm tired, and I'm pissed off, and I'm going to cry as soon as I get home, which'll be soon enough since I'm gonna go walk to the bus stop in a few minutes. if anyone in Seattle particularly feels like coming up to Greenlake tonight to give me a hug, it'd be appreciated.
