dr4b: (confused)
I would write about yesterday, except that there isn't much to write. Work was just blah, no people here, and around 6pm I walked into a door and got a big lump on the side of my head. Went home around 7 because I was still feeling dizzy. Fell asleep on the bus and then fell asleep at home. I remember Eli waking me for dinner around 10:30, and I answered email and caught up more on net stuff for a bit, and then I went right back to sleep. Not that it mattered, I was still tired this morning.

Had lunch with Paul and Melissa today. Was fun. Stopped in Kinokuniya, picked up a free music magazine thingy. Glay has a new album out, but I dunno if I care. Do as Infinity and the brilliant green are both releasing new singles next week, but dammit, where is the new buriguri album? There were also new "Best of Dancemania" albums there, a yellow and a red. They're like $22 each but are almost like "best of the DDR songs that don't suck".

Also, since Ichiro's birthday is October 22, the October page on my Mariners calendar is Ichiro! Yay!

h* - I'm not sure where I live anymore. This lab/workplace seems like home to me.
Quiz night tonight had us with 7 people, but Megan sat out and wrote answers. Josh, Eli, Heather, Heidi, Paul (different Paul), and I were the team. We thought we sucked, but we actually got 23 right, with the winners getting 27. I got my usual share of "Deanna" answers, which as usual makes me very happy (things like knowing the year the Titanic wreckage was found, or being able to do anagrams to come up with "Charles Laughton", or dumb rock groups like Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.. of course, me being the "presidential scholar" and getting the one president question wrong was awful ("Which 19th century president was also known as the American Caesar?" Sure, it was Grant, but doesn't Jackson seem a much more logical guess?), and also not knowing the dimensions of a volleyball court after playing volleyball for like half my life... oh well).

I dunno what else to say about today. Work, ya know, lunch, mentioned that already. Hmm, turns out one of the DDR regulars around here knows [profile] mistergone. Big surprise there, since I think I run into as many random people who know Chuck as Chuck used to run into people that knew me.
