Today we went to the Amazon picnic thingy. It was in the middle of nowhere (Remlinger Farms, wherever that is. It's somewhere near the Snoqualmie or whatever they're called Falls. Anyway, there were like thousands of people there and tons of food. Eli got to meet my officemate and his tons of kids, and Melissa, and one or two other random Amazon people that I actually know. However, being as I didn't know 99.9% of the people there, it was a little sad for me. I watched some broomball and ate food and drank wine and beer and watched the kids and the clowns and the ponies and then gave up and came home.

We measured our new house for getting some more IKEA stuff, and then hung out here. I went foodshopping with Megan and she made us chili for dinner. I played a bunch of FFX and will probly play some more later. I don't know what else to say. I am sort of sad at my inability to get to know new people this weekend, but I am psyched for seeing the Mariners-Yankees game tomorrow (even though so far the Yankees have swept the series). After all, I love the Mariners, hate the Yankees, and worry about the baseball strike. So, I'm psyched. Wheeeeeee! I am still debating which Mariners shirt to get tomorrow though. I could get a number shirt, with Ichiro or Sasaki or Hasegawa or something, or some other player but I dunno which one, or just a random shirt. I'm not sure. I already have an Ichiro shirt, but he is so cool. Okay. That's my story. I'm going to go hang out now. Whee.

Hopefully sooner or later I'll just get to know people at work and I'll be a little less awkward at these company events.
