seattle friday night

but we're not doing much. But... today Eli and I went to Wallingford and tried out a sushi place ("Ai Restaurant", which I hope is the place Jeliza was recommending, over on 45th street). It was good, anyway. We walked around the neighborhood for a bit, and then drove around looking at other neighborhoods; we went through Montlake but failed to find a real main drag there, and the same for West Seattle. I really don't know where we should live, but the rental assistants called a few times today to tell me they might be able to show us some places on Sunday. We'll see.

We came home and I went to the gym with Megan and Heidi. I suck at pushups and crunches and all, and didn't do many, but I did have fun swimming in the pool. That was neat. Now we are goofing off waiting for Eli to finish making dinner, and it's unclear whether we'll do anything else tonight, and then games day tomorrow! whee!
