fabulous friday
Jul. 6th, 2002 01:03 amSo today was spent waiting around at home and playing computer games and stuff and making plans, until 4pm, at which point I got the calls from Amazon, and then I just became joyful and all.
I went and played volleyball on campus at 5:30. Whee! It was really good, even though my arms really hurt now from being out of practice. I can still spike though, which is good. It was good to see Chris and George, and Pat, and Pia, and Justin (who I'm dragging to DDR on Sunday!), and even Drew came and played vball for a while. I don't think I'd ever seen Drew play before. It was exciting though since we talked about Seattle a little. I would be really psyched if I could be in a D&D game with him and mlahut out there. And Ann (allewis) who I ran into on the way to vball said she will come visit me too, since she has to go out there a lot to visit Jacob (richman), who is now working for Microsoft. They're getting married soon too, apparently.
After vball, Eli and I came home and got showered and changed to go to Damon's at the waterfront, where we had dinner with Corey Kosak and Frank and Tomault and Norm and Honus. We played a LOT of this national trivia network thingy. They give you keyboards with little screens and you play along with this trivia game that is being run nationally or something. It was very cool. We had originally planned for movies after dinner but we stayed at Damon's playing trivia until at least midnight. I even won a round! Eli did really well in a lot of the games too.
Oh yeah, and in other good news, Corey has agreed to officiate our wedding. Whee! He might even try to get ordained or something. This is SO cool. :)
