Happy Birthday to me

I got cards in the mail today with presents from Eli's grandparents. My dad called me tonight to wish a happy birthday as well. Nothing from my mom or brother yet. This is sort of weird, isn't it?

random stuffs

I should write about yesterday, but I'm in the lounge now and don't have time. I'll write a little. We had D&D, and I made tacos for people and we played for a few hours. My character did a lot of research on how you make people unraisable and stuff, while others went around investigating things. We found out the mage murders are part of a complicated version of a game called Shent or whatever, which Tal got out of a Tad Williams book. Before D&D I hung out in the lounge and played some spades and I went to KGB. Oh yeah, we had no hot water so I didn't shower. That was weird. Anyway, after KGB I played some bridge. Then I went home and went to Geagle and got stuff for tacos and played D&D until like 1am.

Today the workpeople came into our apartment to fix the shower not draining. I had to shower and change in our guest bathroom and then I gave up on hanging out and came to campus and I played more bridge. Today's my birthday and I got to see people on Craig Street who wished me a happy birthday and elsewhere and I'm going to see people tonight and it's raining and blah. That's my story. More later.

and my shower is fixed, although it appears they made a hole in the ceiling of it and "fixed" it by taping duct tape across it. that's a little bit worrisome, but i'll worry about it some other time. it kind of reminds me of Carl and Andrew and Brad and Kevin's apartment in Cathedral Mansions...
