Harry Potter filk

Ok, I'm going to bother starting to write some of the songs I've had in mind. Here is one I wrote just now instead of doing work:

Old Time Swish'n'Flick.

A year and change ago I wrote My Baby's In Love With Harry Potter, and it still makes me giggle.

Hmm.. I just went and finished Hotel Hogwarts although I am not quite happy with the ending. Hmm.

I know, technically it's the "hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry", but I like the way "hogwarts school of magic" flows.

I am just full of entries today

I went and scanned in a handful of stuff from the last two rolls of film I got back. See here, if you want. Has CTF and DDR and stuff.

Today I went to Kiltie Band and was the only baritone there until the third or fourth song. We were really low brass light... but somehow I survived and even played through the first few songs solo. Wow. It felt really good, actually... I couldn't have done that when I started playing baritone two years ago. On the way to band I saw Ray and Shawn and their whole group... I unfortunately got dragged aside at work at 4pm and was told a new short project they want me to do (it's sort of semi-interesting) and I was reading over stuff and didn't notice until 5:10 and then ran to campus to get my baritone and all. So I missed Ray's music being played, but he taped it! Whee!

After band I played pinball and got a nice 35 million point game and left the replay there so I could eat fries with Nick and Nate and Clintron and Brian. Twas entertaining, and after I went to Wean but nobody was around to play board games with, so I came to work and did a little bit of work and a bit of filk. And then I came home and scanned pictures, and you now know what an exciting day I had!
