Bowling and stuff

Today I overslept for work; big surprise after getting home at 2am. :) But I went in, and got some work done, and talked to people, and got lunch at Westlake (Sorry, but that indian food place just sucks ass, I'm sorry). I read most of So Long and Thanks For All The Fish on the bus to work, the bus home, and the buses to Westlake.

I came home around 7; Eli and I went to Red Mill Burgers for dinner. Then Megan and Josh picked us up and we went bowling at Sunset Bowl. I actually brought my bowling ball and shoes for the first time. The shoes used to belong to my brother and they're a little big for me (men's size 8 or 8.5; I'm a 7.5 or 8), but it worked out ok, I tied them tight. My bowling ball is a 10-pounder and I've been bowling with 8's because I'm a wuss. The fingers are actually a little wide for me, which is weird. You'd think if anything, they'd be tight (since I got my bowling ball like 12 years ago). Shrug. Anyway, I bowled like a 104 or something my first game and a 133 my second, so it can't be THAT bad. I've got less control than I've gotten used to, though. Eli bowled a turkey. I think I've only gotten a turkey once ever in my life. If that.

Played one set of normal 3rd mix because I'm retarded. (The bowling alley has a 3rd mix machine and I forgot to put in codes for 2nd or SSR.) Hey, did you know I can do things like play a 5-song set of Mr. Wonderful, Dam Dariram, Butterfly Upswing, Captain Jack, Afronova, all on Trick, with less than 20 seconds between songs, and get A's on them all AND not need to drink water AND not start coughing up a lung immediately afterwards? Yes, give us this day our daily DDR bragging. :) Actually, what's just amazing me is the stamina issue; I used to not be able to do that, but I can now. That feels really good. I mean, heck, I had a time not THAT long ago when I couldn't pass Captain Jack and Afronova trick, so... yay!

Anyway, home now, gonna go play some IIDX, then sleep, I guess. I'll edit this if I accomplish anything, though I don't expect to.
