if life were DDR

well, usually i'd write an update about today, but the only good thing at all that happened was that Carl got back from NYC and was nice enough to listen to me whine on the phone for an hour or two. thank god for best friends, even if they are an ungodly number of miles apart.

i've started saying "back home" instead of "back east" again to refer to Pittsburgh.

i feel sort of like i'm playing Life Life Revolution, and every day is an arrow, and as I get more and more Boos and Misses, my life bar is going down and down, and the Goods don't make up for it enough, and I haven't had a Perfect in way too long.

yeah, as far as i know i'm going.
you're welcome to join me! let me know if you can; we can carpool.
(though i've gotten a small group of regulars on wednesdays now, so i'm no longer desperate for company.)

aiming to leave work by 5:30, leave Greenlake by 6:30, get there at 7 or so, stay till closing at 10. I guess I might have to futz with that to either pick you up from the ID, or just make you come up to Greenlake with me, but that might be a big pain for you. I've been going out to Krispy Kreme afterwards with a few people every week as well, usually hanging out until midnight or so. I figure, if I'm going to go all the way out to Issaquah, might as well make a night of it... hmm, if you can make that timeframe we ought to bug [profile] thatenglishguy too.

at KK? we eat donuts and sit there and talk, mostly. Joe always tries to get us to play this dice game called Can't Stop, and Ryan and I make faces at him.

at the arcade? I play a LOT of Bemani games and talk to people. yay for MAX2 and Oni courses.
