It has been a fabulous day but I have nothing to say
Today I met another non tech writer tech writer at Amazon. I think, infact, I am the only person in the company whose title is "technical writer", even though I am not the only technical writer. Weird. After that, I went with Mike and Shawn for coffee at Tully's, and then for lunch with ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
pauldf at Soup Daddy in Pioneer Square (soup daddy is cool! I had really good food, but it sucked to be under time pressure), then did an afternoon class thingy that Shawn and I were teaching, and I got to talk to a lot of new people, which was good. Did some more random stuff, left work, came home.
I guess if there is anything on my mind today, it is whether or not I should feel like I am bothering someone if I try to chat with them on IM. I hate always being the person to initiate conversations.
Did a short shopping trip up to Walgreen's for some tape and stuff, and I stopped by "Game Time" or whatever the used videogame store is called on Greenwood by 85th, to see if they had Gradius II. They didn't. They did have the SNES Zelda game thatdvarin used to play nonstop, but they wanted $25 for it, so I said plplpl and left without any new games. I came home and have been unpacking and stuff all evening. It's been very exciting, let me tell you. I found Ryo-oh-ki, at long last, and also found my Hello Kitty puppet plushie, and shoved a Nintendo controller up her butt so she sits straight up next to the stereo. Whee.
