long day at work
Today at work they had a big assembly thing. I got to see Jeff Bezos speak. He looks like Kevin Spacey and is very entertaining. He interviewed someone's dog on stage because he wanted to know why people's dogs were signing in. (In one of the buildings, lots of people bring their dogs to work for some reason.) The dog, of course, smiled and sat there and wagged its tail a lot.
I got lunch at Uwajimaya as usual, and got some work done today. The thing is, I got up at 6:40 to be at work at 8:20 so I could go to see Jeff speak and all (if anyone tells a certain former boss of mine that I've been getting to work by 9am all week, I'll hurt you), and I was at work till 7pm because of one of our later-shift guys helping me with stuff, and then I got all unsynched on the bus schedules and pretty much didn't get home until 8:30pm. Yuck. At least I got my flexpass bus pass thingy today, so I can take the buses for free. I really wanted to play DDR again tonight, but oh well. I was zonked when I got home.
I want a sweatshirt jacket. But the Target I thought was near us at Northgate Mall doesn't exist anymore. Grr. So I wasted half an hour, still have no jacket, and didn't eat dinner till 9:30. Bleh. Now I should do laundry, and maybe play more FFX. And sleep. Sleeeeeeeeeeeep...
Oh yeah. I can't install AIM at work, so it's doubtful I'll be on it much until we move somewhere with good net access and stuff. So people will have to zephyr or email me if they want to chat. Sorry..
