Parties are so hard to decide on!

So, I don't know how many people would be free for a going-away party on Monday July 29th, the night before we skip town, but... what sort of party should we have? Check all that apply, and please give suggestions if you have 'em. Yes, you are all going to be invited, so don't worry about that part. I'm thinking I mostly tend towards housecooling, although I don't know how much entertainment we could dredge up when most of our stuff will be gone.

I believe that between all the people we know we could at least get DDR and some board games together!

Aww, I voted, but I will not be here! I am going to Spain on the 28th! Poo! And I want your stuff too! ;) Actually, can just call dibs? If you have any old fans lying around that you don't want, I could use some for the downstairs of my house! ;) heh.

Hey, I happen to think all of those are good ideas. Sorry for not being much help. Although I do think you should come over and play iron dragon with me one evening. :)

I voted "other" because I'll be leaving PGH the morning of that Monday, after bopping around for a week-end. My "other" idea would be a Saturday or Sunday party so I could pop by (and people wouldn't have to get up for work the next day).

If I don't catch you before you leave, prosperity and happiness with your new move, employment, and marriage, and all that comes with them! *big hug*

Lingering is good. Food or alcohol is irrelevant.

I've always found "apartment-freezings" (great term, BTW) to be kind of sad, especially when the apartment had lots of neat-o value when it was full. It's like the ghosts of last month/year/whatever have already started to haunt the place.
