more paranoia

Is it true that United is on the verge of going out of business any minute and that if Carl and I are flying United to get to Austin and back, we might end up completely screwed?

(I figure if I post this here, someone who actually reads news might have a URL or something for me if it is true)

The CEO (http://biz.yahoo.com/apf/011017/united_airlines_future_1.html) says they'll go out of business sometime next year if things don't get better.

When were you going to Austin? If it's by January or so, chances are you'll be ok....

we're going this friday and coming back next tuesday. so i dunno. it was just sort of hellish getting back from boston on monday and all, so i'm a little worried.

not to mention that a lot of it is probably "please give us money, federal government! we need it OH SO BADLY".
