An announcement
There is a big sparkly thing on my finger now. I think this means I'm going to get married to Eli someday or something.
(If I had a digital camera I'd show it to all of you, but I don't, and I can't even scan my hand because my scanner hates me.)
Just for the record, if any of you guys are going to propose to girls, when you are giving them a ring, don't say "Give me a finger," because if the girl is anything like me, rather than offering you up the fourth finger on her left hand, she will stick up her middle finger at you instead.
(But he decided he wanted to give it to me anyway. Whee!)
