As for other things about the week besides volleyball, Thursday night a bunch of us from work went to Perry's for dinner and I honestly think I'd rather go there for lunch, heh. We were supposed to go to one guy's house afterwards but instead just ended up playing some cards at work. I watched the Hosei #2 HS ballgame over my cellphone, which was kinda cool.
Yesterday I wrote a birthday card to Tomoya Kumabe (one of my "buddies" on the Meiji baseball team) because his birthday is Aug 1. I'd been making fun of him for having "0801KUMA" on his team jacket, like "are you advertising? You want me to send you a card?" several months ago, so I figured I'd go ahead and send him one. Included two postcards for the team as well like I did with Hosei... and this time I wrote my email address on the thing so they can let me know if it all gets there. I wrote in English and Japanese, because clearly one is easier for me than the other, and walked to the post office to send it.
I'm going to a CMU alumni thingy with John and Cat this afternoon, that should be interesting, seeing who all is out in this area and who all actually comes to these kinds of events.
I've walked a LOT this week, I can feel it in my legs being vaguely stiff/unhappy, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing...
Still haven't seen Harry Potter, ought to take care of that sometime.
