I've never used that particular IME, but the Japanese one, I've found, is very inconvenient. It was very slooooooow when I was typing up something for class. Granted, I've never tried to type a full-length paper in JWP or NJ Star or anything.
at least the japanese one is sane and based on english phonetics. The Hangul one is basically, well, each letter element is mapped to a key, and as you type combinations of keys you get combinations of letters. So in order to really use it I'd have to memorize the hangul keyboard layout. I remember when I had the JLK for my Macintosh, four years ago, because Neal got it for me as a birthday present... and well... I never, ever, ever used the kana keyboard layout thingy. I always typed phonetic. I dunno.
