Uniform! And uh... I waste time.

I think that while there are a few people who would like to see me before I go, none seem to be willing to pick a day to see me, and as a result, I probably won't see many people. It's fine with me since I'll be back in March.

Today I didn't do much. I went to Sports Authority to get my jersey back. It has a name and number on it now! The guys at the counter were all like "you must be a big fan of Kagami" and I'm like "yeah, I'm a Hosei fan". One of them turns out to be a Fighters fan, and goes to games, but had never seen me before. Shrug. He said he has an Inaba jersey and I'm like "Oh, I see, Inaba is also from Hosei..."

But yeah. Jersey!!

Through a bizarre series of events, Kagami himself may end up hearing about this before I actually manage to stalk him... (well, more like, I told Mizushima, and he said "I sent those to Tokachi-san and she was so impressed that she wants to show them to Kagami's mom, is that okay?") We'll see. I was seriously considering going to Yokosuka on Thursday or Friday morning because I hope I can get him to sign the uniform. Assuming it's actually possible to meet the rookies, and assuming he isn't too freaked out.

After picking up the uniform, I went to Anrakutei and had yakiniku for lunch, and then I went to my neighborhood Book-Off, where I didn't find stuff for Oren but found some manga for Carl.

Then I did a bunch of solo karaoke. I recorded me singing a bunch of songs, but actually despite the room feeling like the music was too loud and the mic not loud enough, on replay, my voice is too prominent and doesn't blend with the music. Either that or I just don't like the way I sound ;)

Did you know there's a Coco Ichibanya in Akabane now? I didn't until I was staring at Lala Garden and realized there was one there. WTF -- I've been complaining for 2 years that there's no curry place in Akabane since Little Spoon closed, and now, a few weeks before I leave Japan, one opens. Sigh. I didn't go there though, but instead went to Daiso to get a few things.

Then home, via the bakery for dinnerish sandwich thingies.

I did laundry and watched Rookies Sotsugyo on DVD (I dunno, just wanted to put something in while I was kotatsu camping and it seemed reasonable). I don't think it was freezing out, but it was damn close.

Went back to the station to get Benoit around 8:30, who was back from his 3-day excursion with Christina. I ended up switching DVDs to Up, which he hadn't seen before.

I didn't really get much productive done today, so I suck. I always suck at packing anyway.

School starts again today at Nanachu. But I won't be there. It's so weird.

For some reason, I find the v-sign with the back turned especially hilarious. :)
