Huh, I wrote a ton about school this week but not about anything else.

So, Monday night I was at school fairly late working on some stuff. Met up with [livejournal.com profile] catbus around 9pm and we got dinner at Otoya. Kind of funny, I think she has more friends in Tokyo right now than I do. At least, of the hanging out variety.

She left Japan while I was at work on Tuesday; I told her to throw the key over the side wall in a plastic bag. Little did I know that there'd be a rainstorm that evening and by the time I got home at 11pm the entire side of the house would be a wet and muddy dark pile of leaves and stuff, but I was eventually able to find the key, so hooray.

I got home so late because I was hanging out with Kozo and Kyoko for karaoke. Kozo and I met up at our usual time and place and went to get okonomiyaki for dinner at my usual place for that. What's kinda funny is, without either of us actually telling the other, we both brought things we'd agreed to exchange a few weeks ago; he had a Swallows hat for me and I had the Swallows fan club shoulderbag that I hate for him. So that worked out funny. We got crepes and waited for Kyoko at Utahiroba, which has also become our usual karaoke joint, and then we sang for 2 hours. Kyoko is really good at singing, and we were both doing tons of old J-Pop, though my knowledge really only goes back to 1990 or so. Whatever, it was good times. Kozo and I reprised Garasu no Shonen, added Natsu no Ousama to it for the Kinki Kids of the day. Good times, I guess.

Wednesday was entirely school-related; we had our teacher's party in the evening, because Thursday was a national holiday.

And Thursday was today. I didn't leave the house until 3pm or so. Went to Ikebukuro to print out some photos and eat some sushi, basically. Also went shopping at Tokyu Hands to get some materials to make Christmas cards for a few people at school that I owe them to. Came home and made said cards... oh, I stopped off in Ito Yokado on the way home to get taiyaki and some other stuff, ran into my college ball friend Ogura, she was shopping too.

Tomorrow is going to suck. And Christmas is going to suck more. I really have nothing to do this weekend except be sad and depressed about the end of school. I considered flying to Okinawa for the weekend but the weather forecast looks bad. I suppose if I'm just going there to cross it off my visited list, it doesn't matter what the weather's like, though...
