fried day

Okay, so the first thing is that LJ didn't update my Cedar Point entry's post time, that is, since I public'ed it a day after I started it, many people didn't see it. So, if you want to read about Cedar Point, go here. Thanks. It is a good story. Sort of. I promise.

The second thing is what I did today. I went for greek food with Carl for lunch. It was the last day of the Greek Food Festival and I nearly missed my last chance to get moussaka (they had 3 pieces left by the time I got there at 1:40). They didn't have pasta flora for dessert though - I was very sad. Then I drove with Carl to Squill to get my Cedar Point and etc pictures developed (the ones that I posted scans of in my last entry). During the hour it took them to be developed, Carl and I went to B&N for a bit and I got a copy of Homer Price! Because we were talking about it at lunch due to the nature of Krispy Kreme and their gigantic donut-making machine, and we couldn't remember the book name with the donuts and all the other stuff, but a lady at B&N helped me find it. Also, you know, when I went to type B&N just now I typed D&B by accident. Anyway. After the bookstore, CARL TAUGHT ME HOW TO PARALLEL PARK! YAY FOR CARL! I just want you to all stop and realize how cool that is of him. So we went to a side street in Squirrel Hill and I practiced lining up with cars and parallel parking behind them. We found a nice spot where there were two cars about 24 feet away from each other, which is the distance I believe I have to fit into for the actual driving test. Hopefully I'll get to go try out the barrels and all at some point soon.

After getting the pics back I went to campus and hung out at the Black Friday TG a little. I got to see Sean Slattery, who was my 15-211 TA and who is an all-around awesome guy and who is in town for graduation. Yay! I saw many other friends. I saw Robin, whose Cedar Point trip I was originally going to tag along with, and I told her all about our trip and showed her my pictures. She was like "Did you go on Millennium Force? That is my favorite roller coaster ever," and I was like "I did, and my friends played a nasty trick on me and got a picture of me cowering in fear on it!" I hung around for a while until people started clearing out and then Eli and I went upstairs for a while and then I drove to Monroeville. I bought a plastic thingy of drawers at OfficeMax, which I hope to use to make my room a little more organized. But rather than set it up immediately when I got home, I decided to scan pictures for a while. I am so bad. Also, when I got home, I PARALLEL PARKED BETWEEN TWO CARS ON THE SIDEWALK! YEAH! Now I will go commence cleaning up my room. Yeah. Oh, and in the meantime I gave an invite code to [profile] nickjong, so now all of you can pick on him on here too. :)
