Back to normal
I'm at the JHS again.
Mike is coming to visit me in 30 days! Hooray. I have a long weekend over Oct 1-3, so he'll be here then, and we're probably going to take a trip to Nagoya!
Yesterday I spent the afternoon at home under the AC, working on blog stuff. Not sure why I bother at all, to be honest, but whatever.
In the evening I went to the Tokyo Dome to watch Toshiba's baseball team play against Tokai Rika. The 2pm game went into extra innings so this one was moved to 6:30 from 6pm... I got there at 5:50 after stopping at McDonald's for a Tsukimi Burger combo :)
Toshiba's side was PACKED though, I shoulda expected that. Oh well. I got a balcony seat, and ended up on the Tokai Rika side, in the front row behind their ouendan, which is where I wanted to be to take some movies. However, their ouendan was dead boring for most of it, it was like they were playing high school stuff. Toshiba's ouendan was great, I came down for 2 innings to stand behind them on the first floor and take a few clips there.
Toshiba won 2-0, so they advance, though I was sad because the guys on their team that I saw in college didn't appear.
I am thinking to watch JR East vs. Toshiba on Thursday night but I am guessing it will be just as crowded, so eh. Both teams have former college players that I like, although who knows if they will play... Shinozawa K works for JR East and had offered to try to sneak people in for free with the JR employees for their weekend game, but I asked and he can't go to the Thursday game, so bleh.
The game was really fast and done around 8pm. I went to Yamashita bookstore and bought college ball magazines because I am weak like that.
