dr4b | Monday into Tuesday

Monday, Mike had D&D in the evening so I took the opportunity to steal his car for the day after driving him to work... though during the daytime itself I mostly stayed at home and worked on puzzle stuff, had another salad from Whole Foods for lunch. In the late afternoon around 3:30 I drove to the west side because I wanted to beat rush hour. I went to the K-Mart up on Aurora to get socks (silly but true, K-Mart is the only place that seems to dependably carry the cheapo crew socks I like) and then because I had an hour before I was supposed to be at the Ballard house, decided not to go do anything else and instead just went to the Ballard house.

Zach and Jess were already home, so I spent a little while going through some of my crap that is in Carl's closet, and then talked to Z&J for a while. We went to Taste of India and met up with Carl there (he just took the bus straight from work). I drank like 6 cups of chai and ate a huge dinner and was very very happy about it.

Afterwards we played Rock Band for about half an hour when we got back to the house. I played drums, Jess sang, and Zach and Carl did guitar.

Then I went to pick up Mike from D&D.

I couldn't get to sleep at night because I drank too much chai, but I don't think I'd let that stop me from doing it again. The chai there is really delicious.

Now it is Tuesday and I guess I haven't done much today, although I did go for a 3-mile walk in a circle around Samammish to get to the shopping center (despite that I have the car at home since Mike stopped by at lunch)... it's just weird that I don't walk several miles a day here, I think. A bit later I will pick up Mike from work and we'll go to dinner. Whee.
