more randomness

I'm watching the Fighters over internet TV! Shota Ohno just hit his first home run of the year :) And it's Itoi's birthday and I recognize a couple of the people in the stands holding signs for him... they're in Obihiro this weekend, apparently. Despite it being Hokkaido, the temperature is still like 28ish :)

Yesterday I stayed home during the day, and in the evening Mike and I went to Marymoor Park and played catch! We were only out there for maybe half an hour, but my arm got pretty tired and I got kind of sweaty. I hope we can actually sneak onto an actual softball field at some point so I can see how far I can throw relative to an actual field, rather than guessing.

We had dinner at Ruby's. I think this trip is going to be my Milkshake Trip, if so far is any indication...

Today I dropped Mike off at work in the morning, and then due to my own inability to navigate 520 properly, ended up taking a side trip to the Fred Meyer on 148th for an hour or so to look around for some of the stuff I need to bring back to Japan. After that I also missed the right exit coming back this way as well. Whoops. I know where Mike lives, but I don't have an autopilot to drive back here yet. By then it was already 11:40 or so, so I went to the Chipotle out here and got a burrito for lunch. Hooray :)

Spent the afternoon finishing up a puzzle that I first worked on a few months ago. Drove up to MS at the start of rush hour to have PH meeting.

Went to dinner afterwards with Adam and Rehana and Jeff and Jonobie, at Red Robin. Bizarrely, when we first got there I checked the Mariners-Twins game, and Brian Sweeney was pitching! I was like "Hey, I know that guy..."

Tomorrow is Puzzle Safari. Hooray.

Yeah, that's his name. That's pretty cool, I'm sure they'll ask next time I see them. Thanks :D
