How I spent my 33rd birthday
Mike called me this morning at 7am my time and sang happy birthday to me because he is awesome and sweet and wonderful and I only saw him 3 days ago but I already miss him a ton. Sigh.
Worked at my JHS all day from 8am to 6pm, then went home for a short time, then went to Anrakutei with![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
eiriene and februaryfour for yakiniku dinner, and karaoke at Big Echo because they have non-smoking rooms and Ai has a ton of points on her pointcard. They paid for my dinner and karaoke, which made me feel kinda bad because I am used to Japan where everyone pays for a party, even the birthday person, at least it always seems that way. I sang almost entirely only medleys at karaoke, which mostly went over well but a few flopped because I just couldn't pick up the songs even if I had heard them before.
Oh, before dinner I realized that since this is probably my last birthday in Japan, I should do purikura so I had a date-stamp for it. So we did. For some reason half the pictures don't seem to be uploaded properly on my phone though -- not sure what happened with the infrared send. But here is one:
