Crazy Thursday
ZOMG crazy day. Seriously. I'll write more later, but I just realized I spent like 3000 yen on trains alone today (Akabane->Kannai, Kannai->Ikebukuro, Ikebukuro->Takadanobaba, Takadanobaba->Kaihin-Makuhari, Kaihin-Makuhari->Akabane). Sheesh. Went to a Fighters game at Yokohama Stadium, bummed around in Ikebukuro for an hour, then took a trial Japanese class at SJI, and then met up with
the2belo and went to the Makuhari Outback, then came home. ZONKED. Going to spend Friday morning and afternoon at home, relaxing, doing laundry, and waiting for the package with my Fighters Fan Club 2010 stuff to be redelivered. Goodnight!

Riddle me this...

I'll admit that the Shibuya Outback is a little bit out of the way, but it's a hell of a lot closer than Makuhari...
Do you like riding the trains that much?!? ;)
Re: Riddle me this...
But the real reason we went there is because (my friend in Gifu) Jeff's company sending him to Tokyo this time was actually his company sending him to Chiba. When he heard they were sending him up here, he told me "Oh shit, it's NOT Tokyo. It's way the hell out in Chiba somewhere. Do you know Kaihin-Makuhari?" and I'm like "Jeff... that's the station by Chiba Marine Stadium. I know it a lot better than I should."
I suggested Outback because traditionally Jeff and I get yakiniku or something meat-related, so I thought it'd be amusing to go there, and it's near the station and all. But basically since I had nothing to do on Friday in particular, and he had to get up early to go back on-site, I figured it made more sense for me to come to Chiba than for him to trek up here to Tokyo.
Does that explain it? (A longer post would have and will have that detail in it.)
