I'd been apparently mishearing a lyric for years. The real one is "君がそばにいる限り", meaning "for as long as you're by my side", but I'd been hearing it as "君のそばにいる限り", meaning "for as long as I'm by your side".
In this case it doesn't actually matter as the sentiment is largely the same, but it made me think about how completely different a sentence really CAN be if you mishear a particle.
