Torakichi

Bought one of the limited edition tigers. His name is Futagami (as in Kazuhito, the pitcher from Hosei University who got drafted by the Hanshin Tigers this past fall, sigh). I took the portrait on my sloop named the Hiroshima Carp... and I'm currently in a solo crew called Kamagaya Fighters, in the Eastern League.

I sometimes wonder if I go too far with the Japanese baseball references in PP. Still have yet to actually have anyone GET it though (usually if anything people ask why I would name a ship after something as terrible as Hiroshima, or think I mean I want to go blow things up).

I doubt many non-Japanese people have any clue what the names of Japanese baseball teams are. Or that they care to learn. :)

So I'm not terribly surprised that nobody has commented on it.

But if the references amuse you, is it really that important for other people to recognize them?

Not at all. Makes me smile to read about it, when you post.

Totally read "Futagami" as "Futanari"

hahahahaha

I can't see Deanna naming an in-game pet Futanari. :)

Hehe, that reminds me, on Three Kingdoms Online I have a capital city called 竜地 (I'm thinking of renaming it "Ochiai", though), and I expanded to a subcity known as "Tatsunami".

I'm planning on at least two more sub-cities, named Kawakami and Fukudome. :D
