Driving again, and Green Tea Pocky
More driving today. Eli came home from work around 6:30 and we went driving while there was still daylight. I couldn't think of somewhere to go though, so I suggested dinner, and he suggested Steak'n'Shake. So I drove to the waterfront. Aside from some ickiness switching lanes on the High Level Bridge, we got there ok, and I parked in a lot just fine. We had the "steak'n'shake dinner" and DAMN do they give you a lot of milkshake. After that I drove to Target and parked again and we got Eli a ladybug keychain watch like mine and Laura's, and then I drove to Dave&Buster's, where we played some Pump It Up (well, two rounds). I got quite a crowd because I did songs like Space Fantasy, and then later Beethoven's Virus on Hard with the spinny spins... I think I was a little mean in selecting songs on Eli, but he did pretty well for his first time on a Pump machine. After that it was dark out, but I asked if I could drive home and Eli let me. Aside from a bad right turn onto the bridge again where I was way out of my lane, we had an uneventful drive home... we just took the mostly back ways, up Monitor to Shady to Wilkins to Fifth, etc, and then I parked on the curb here. Driving at night really isn't so bad.
This afternoon I went to eat crepes for lunch and shop at Supa-tokyo with Carl. I got a lot of pocky - namely, Mousse pocky, in Strawberry, Chocolate, and a new Maccha flavor - namely, green tea. The green tea Pocky is REALLY weird. I either will give it to Carl, or if not him, try to foist it off on KGB, I guess...

I was definitely disappointed with the thinness of the meat. With a name like "Steak 'n Shake", I'd think that the burgers would be juicier.
