D&D and winding down from carnival
Today I got up for D&D. We had an XP-heavy session, mostly because Django threw a bunch of wyverns at us in the desert and then when we got to the location (well, we think we got to the location) we were going to, it basically had a dragon and several huge scorpions guarding a treasure. Fortunately, it appears that the dragon was just a juvenile blue dragon. I used the book of infinite spells twice to flame strike things, which was amusing to me, at least how the rest of the party barely reacted at all to it. My guess is that Django told his roomates all what it was OOC, and I told Carl, so maybe only Kyle and Nasri didn't absolutely know for sure. Well, somehow we managed to kill most of the scorpions, and Isaac and Nasri managed to kill the dragon... so we got a shitload of XP and a ton of treasure and next session will be exciting.
Now what is funny is, I can't decide whether to level again as a rogue or to bother taking a level as a Ninja Spy. It actually doesn't really do me ANY GOOD AT ALL to only take one level of ninja - the class doesn't get interesting until 3-4 levels of it - and we're just not going to get there. So I'm debating taking a level of fighter so I could take exotic weapon prof in katana and fight two-handed with it, or weapon spec katana, or something... or I might just take another level of rogue so I can continue boosting my insane skill levels even further. I dunno. It sort of sucks. It might even be interesting to take a level of wizard since Dan isn't coming back, but I'm not sure that would make sense to suddenly be a wizard out of nowhere. (My main reason to take another level of rogue is so I can boost my Use Magic Device skill, see...)
Anyway, aside from that, I had some good pinball after D&D, and then went to Sunday dinner, where I saw people and kittens and stuff. Now I am home. I have a sore throat. Sigh.
