I have a new AC

The people from Kojima Denki came by this morning to install it. It took an hour and a half or so. The one guy actually like, went out my window and stood on the laundry room roof thingy to attach the outside blower to a bracket. I was worried the roof might cave in and he'd fall and die, but fortunately it didn't. So far, so good.

I would have watched Koshien this afternoon, but alas, it got rained out. Doh!

I did go down to the JR station to get lunch and finally buy my Seishun 18 ticket. So yeah, in a little over 3 days I'm going to start a journey across the country. I really should figure things out and pack :(

I did laundry, and then in the evening I went down to the Minato-ku whatchamacallit labor hall place, where Tokyo Gaijins has their volleyball games sometimes. We barely had 12 people, which was good, but the place was STIFLINGLY HOT, which was bad. I found myself unable to really move a lot because I just felt so lethargic in the heat, so I played like crap. Plus my left thumb is still jammed from yesterday's volleyball game with Intervoll, so I couldn't actually set overhand at all. Not that I usually can set overhand that well, but it's annoying when people are passing me high and I've got to step back and bump set. I talked to some nice Canadian people though.

Came home... whoops, where did the last hour or two go? I've been cropping more Sapporo photos because it'd be nice to finish that all off before I leave town, but we'll see what actually happens. Whee.

Oh yeah, and the Kochi Fighting Dogs officially signed Hideki Irabu! Holy crap! I was willing to give up the Kochi game on the 23rd in my Shikoku journey but now I'm rethinking that. I'm not an Irabu fan but it would be really interesting to see him before he retires.
