a holiday weekend
Will post more in the morning because I somehow let the entire evening go by watching baseball and playing PP and cropping photos, but in short I spent Sunday at Odaiba with Sam P and Christina, and today doing some walking around Tokyo with Christina.
I miss the Ainori TV show terribly. I even watched SMAPxSMAP tonight and thought how... crap... there isn't anything on after it anymore. How sad. Ainori kind of ended up being a big part of my weekend by total random chance:

Yes, the ACTUAL Ainori bus. It was at Venusfort. I seriously nearly cried. And there were Ainori goods at the Fuji building. And then today I found former Ainori member Hide's shop in Harajuku, and other Ainori members were there but I was too scared to go in. (Next weekend I must suck up my courage and do my best to go, however, because freakin' Shrek will be there and he was pretty much my favorite character of the last set.)
I will leave you with that and one more shot from Odaiba, for now:

Sam's reason for taking us to Odaiba was to see this huge Gundam scale model. Along with that, we also rode a ferris wheel, ate Italian food, saw a trumpet-playing robot, wandered various other places, went through Joypolis, and then went home via Shibuya where we had shabu-shabu for dinner at Momo Paradise. Hooray.
Bugs make me unhappy. Tokyo summers have many bugs. Yuck.
I need to sleep.
