Seafarers, SFFS, and DDR

I went to Phantom today and bought a copy of Seafarers. For Megan's sake, I had the following conversation with Jeff:

Me: (picking up the box of Ascension at Firepeak) Heh, I visited some friends in Seattle last week, including Josh Buergel.
Jeff: Damn. Josh. He's a good guy. A really good guy.
Me: Yeah... I told him you guys had Ascension at Firepeak and he was like 'They better have it, after how much money I spent there!'
Jeff: No kidding. Yeah, you tell him I say hi next time you see him, okay?

Anyway, I bought Seafarers but couldn't find people to play it for an hour or two so I played bridge with Noble and Charlie and Matt and Paul and random other people off and on. Eventually we got quorum for Seafarers - dkitchin, rjmccall, Carl, and me. We played the "random" board layout. It was fun. I won around 6pm.

Went to SFFS. It was silly and random as usual. Fortunately, I am no longer the secretary as of the end of this semester. Yay.

Played a little pinball and went home to meet up with IMSO people. Rebecca showed up like two minutes after I got in, so she changed out of work clothes and I changed out of hippie freak clothes (today I decided to dress like I used to in tenth grade with a long skirt and chucks and pajama pants and stuff). We watched some videos from the BVM tournament. Bayani showed up around then. We had his Kicking the Can, and Orion.78, and me and Rebecca spinning to Butterfly (there's this sort of spin I did that we're calling the "deanna spin" because we don't really know what else to call it - like spinning around on left-down-right-down-left-down-right-down-left...) anyway, so the video was cool to see. Then we played a ton of DDR. Mostly 3rd mix for a long time, then some 1st mix (I really wanted to play Strictly Business and do the fast spins), and then we put in 4th and Extra to look at some songs to possibly do a group freestyle routine to. We didn't come up with much, but it was sort of fun. We watched a bunch of random videos I have on my computer of DDR routines... some were really really cool, others were a little silly, but hey.

I guess that's about it for today.
