Cards and stuff
Dude, so after school today I went to Ikebukuro to go baseball card shopping (or more like, pricing) at Mint since I hadn't been there in a few weeks. When I finally get paid in a week or whenever it is, I'm buying the Fighters 2009 set, the Marines 2008 and 2009 sets, possibly the Tokyo Big 6 Spring 2008 box if it's still there cheap, and... I dunno. Actually I might just get Marines 2009 as all of my ni-gun boys from last year are still on the team, we'll see.
I bought an extra card of a rookie who happens to have the same kanji for his name as one of my students. Not sure whether or not it's appropriate to give it to the student but I think it'd be pretty funny ("I didn't know you were a baseball player!") Also got the retro rookie Dragons cards since they were Masa and Morino this year :)
Played a few UFO catchers. That was a bad call. Played Pop'n'Music, which was a better call. "Livin' Life" EX is harder as a 29 than Polyrhythm EX as a 30. I suck at Pop'n.
I got kaitensushi dinner at my favorite place and ate too much but it was SOOOO GOOOD, and then I came home via Yokado and picked up some stuff there too, and now it's really past my bedtime. Where did the day go? I started looking at my Perl scripts that I need to fix, at least.
Tomorrow I hope to go see the Dragons-Lions game up in Omiya. Woo. It's looking less likely that I'll go to Nagoya on Sunday though... hey, I could head out to Tokorozawa to see the Ohya-free Baystars this week come to think of it. Teehee.
