How I spent my birthday
I had to go back to work today, and I'm convinced all the kids hate me again. Or they just hate being back at school.
It rained a lot. But Hanshin and Yakult played a game anyway. There WEREN'T any Pacific League games, so I went with Pau to Jingu for the Hanshin game (he's a Tigers fan). Yakult won 2-1. I wore my Hanshin Imaoka #7 jersey for the first time in ages and tried to do the ouenka (but mostly just yelled for Sekimoto and stuff). There's something nice about going to a game where I don't have that much emotionally vested in who wins (I'm not a Hanshin fan or a Yakult fan, really).
If Simon had been there he might have met up with us after the game but he wasn't, so I convinced Pau to walk to Shibuya from there with me. In Shibuya, we bought some cake (which cost 777 yen for the two slices) and went to karaoke for an hour, which was awesome! We ended the night on L'arc~en~Ciel's "Kaze ni Kienaide" and decided that next time we need to plan better and just go sing Spitz and L'arc songs forever and ever, but first actually bother learning the titles of songs we like.
I'm going to be so dead tired tomorrow... getting like 5 hours of sleep now if I'm lucky, then going to the Tokyo Dome after work to cheer against Yomiuri. Er, for the Dragons. Er, for Morino. Errr, whatever. Also TATSUNAMI!!!1!11!!!!11!1!
Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday emails/comments/facebooks/whatever! I really do appreciate it, and should probably go reply a lot of thanks :)
