I'm in Seattle!

My phone number is the same as last time. I'm in town until March 3rd. I'm doing Puzzle Hunt on Feb 28 and March 1, kinda busy this upcoming weekend, but other than that not much going on.

I didn't sleep at all on my flight, but I did watch Burn After Reading twice, mostly because the first time I missed the first 10 minutes or so. It was still funny. I love how they managed to have Brad Pitt and George Clooney COMPLETELY out of their normal characters. I also watched Rachel Getting Married, which was kind of boring to be honest.

The guy sitting next to me on the plane was an American guy, a physical therapist from Osaka, who's been living there 17 years. Crazy. I only talked to him a little bit towards the end of the ride though.

Argh, can't decide whether to nap or not.

Also apparently Livejournal doesn't want to let me post this entry because it is technically "before" my last entry so it's a date out of order. Har.

This time while you're in town can we do lunch or dinner? We're good any weeknight with a few days notice to get a babysitter.

Given that this hunt is supposed to have a Jeopardy! theme, if it's helpful and/or relevant that I have at least two Jeopardy! winners on my Facebook flist, do let me know. One of my friends won a Jaguar X-Type when they briefly awarded them to 5-time champs as prizes, and another only won one game but did so with what was, at the time, a record total.

Sadly I do not have Ken Jennings on my Facebook flist - but he's so obvious that he's probably a neutral part of the whole operation with something to do with the storyline, or somesuch. Have fun!

Welcome back again!

If you're free for lunch in the near future, I'm up for it. Still working in Pac-Med just a shuttle away from the I.D.

And, come to think of it, a third who played Ken Jennings and lost, but not before giving him a run for his money. (The five-time champ lives in SoCal, the other two are midwestern.)

Burn After Reading is an awesome movie! Thanks for reminding me I should get it on DVD.

Oh, not in the least, unless they have a puzzle which requires you to search through your social network for J!-related connections. That's certainly not inconceivable in the MIT Mystery Hunt, though if the MS Puzzle Hunt is a bit more puzzle-y and a bit less stunt-y (at times, though the MIT Mystery Hunt is extremely puzzle-y as well) then I fully agree that it's completely irrelevant. :)
