Saturday in Pittsburgh
It was snowing and freezing raining out, but I walked up the hill with Roman anyway. We got lunch at Uncle Sam's and I ate too many sweet potato fries. Then we walked around Squill for a while, stopping in at Giant Eagle eventually, and man, it was pretty brutally cold/wet out there; once we got back here I just kind of plunked down on the beanbag with my laptop and hid under a blanket for a few hours because I felt totally dead, like I couldn't even move.
Went to Barbara's for the games party in the evening and saw many wonderful people and played a couple of games... got Roman and Marybeth and Charlie to play Tichu with me for a while, had a game of Fluxx forced on me until I ran away after 3 minutes, and joined up with a game of Die Kutschfahrt zur Teufelsburg, which is a weird card game where you have like 8 people on two teams, only nobody knows what team you're on and you're trying to win the game conditions anyway. Everyone else had been playing it before by the time I joined in, so I felt clueless, but I guess it went okay.
I got to catch up with a lot of people, which was good.
I feel like I could say more, but I've had a headache the last few hours. Erk. Kelli was feeling really tired and sick today too, so I'm a bit worried.
also, gmail seems to be down for me. WTF?
