I meant to type "gmail" and typed "batmail"

I have no idea why, but once I realized what I'd done I cracked up and started thinking about whether it'd be possible to have a batmail client for gmail. Emacs uber alles!

You could probably point batimail at gmail. It uses imtest to talk to the server, and I can't immediately think of any reasons why that wouldn't work with gmail.

I still use batmail, except the IMAP version, for work. Drives people nuts when they send me attachments and I grumble. No viruses, tho!
