dear my friends who are in the DC area
if I was down there somewhere in the Dec 13-18 range, would anyone have time to hang out? or is it a better idea for me to head down closer to Christmas? (I just feel like it might be a better idea to do travelling BEFORE christmas, but what do I know.)
EDIT> OMG! I totally want to go tour the Nationals Park, anyone want to come with me? It'd have to be an afternoon thing though...

I don't mind finding you in DC or VA or MD, and I don't mind staying out late on weeknights. I can offer Race for the Galaxy, "dudes and slackers" (I prefer your name =)), Ricochet Robot, Domaine (which I've never played though I own it) or card games. Yeah, not a very good game collection I know. Unfortunately, my bf does not play games. I don't know who else you know in this area and if they are gaming types. I can also do dinner or tag along for touristy things, or something else.
Christmas time, my schedule is way more up in the air. I have tons of days off, but generally that means I'll find some way to go out of town for one reason or another.

Yeah, I'm thinking of coming around a week before Christmas -- seems like it would be easier in general. Maybe. My brother lives a mile or so from a Metro stop on the Red Line (Wheaton I think) so I figured I'd just wander around the city if nothing else.

I'm a really crappy tourist but to be fair I haven't actually seen very much of DC, not since high school at least, so I might be able to do stuff.

Cool, looking forward to it.

But other than that... we should be around, I've got a few things yet to do at home etc., but getting out would be good too. I'll give you a call Saturday maybe? I don't want to call too early, though. ^_- Hope to see you!
