packing, etc. am moving in the morning. well, moving a lot of my things, anyway... I'll still have to come back here to do a bunch of things like clean.
anyway on a whim I net-stalked an old favorite minor league player of mine who basically retired in early 2007 because the Mariners weren't going to ever promote him, nor were they going to trade him or anything else, they were just going to let him sit there and fill an AAA roster spot until he got bored. Or something like that. I was kind of pissed off about it.
anyway, he turns 29 in a few days and is now working at an investments/real estate firm in houston. crazy. It's weird to think that less than two years ago he really seemed to be a coin flip away from playing in the major leagues. Good thing he graduated with a real degree from a real university, I always did hear that he had a real brain to go with everything else.
i hope i get around to writing about today's fighters gamei n a reasonable amount of time. we'll see. internet access for me is going to be spotty at best, nonexistent at worst, for me, for the next few weeks, it seems.
