I'm going to Osaka again.
I have my tickets to the Pacific League playoff games at the Osaka Dome on Sunday and Monday. Larry Rocca didn't let me down; I met him this afternoon in Ebisu and he gave them to me (well, sold them; it's not Chiba Lotte so they're not freebies).
I don't have my train ticket yet, or a hotel reservation, but I have baseball tickets. I'm going to a postseason game, in 3 days... for the first time since 1983. Awesome.
Unfortunately Hiromi hurt her leg so she can't come to Osaka so there is a chance I don't actually know anyone going, but SO WHAT? I'm going to the POSTSEASON! With the FIGHTERS! OMG!
Oh yeah, and I took a photo of that concrete square sculpture in Ebisu Garden... the one that Makino and Domyouji meet at in the first Hanadan dorama. I thought of getting someone to take MY photo in it, but figured I would look too strange if I did so. I'd never seen it before since I rarely go to Ebisu. It's amazing how everything there is in English, seriously.
As for everything else... my Headways students are planning a Settlers of Catan goodbye party for me. How cool is that?
I bought some longsleeve shirts yesterday from Uniqlo. That is not so weird as that they are exactly the same as some shirts I bought last year. I figure that the shirts last year look old, and I should replace them. I wonder if I've been living in Japan too long now that I have thoughts like that... they're not really falling apart or anything, but the new versions look so, well, new!
