Eggplant is good.
I was supposed to have 7 classes today, but two of them had the students cancel. Whoops. Nice to have breathing time though.
In Headways, one of my students brought in a newspaper article on English idioms and the other wrote up a short summary about a Kimutaku Nikon commercial and they basically filled my class time for me. I love when people do that, because then I know they're really talking about what THEY want to talk about.
I have a new student who started today, too. He loves soccer and sports in general. His son plays on the youth section for Omiya's J2 team. That is pretty damn cool.

alibash and Sophie, who I hadn't seen in months. We went and ate pasta at a place called Goemon, which is the oldest pasta chain in Japan, or something like that. I had some very tasty eggplant-etc pasta. Also we noticed oddly that like... a pasta set was 1350 yen and came with salad, soup, and a drink, but a pasta plate was 1000 yen and a drink was 400 yen. WTF?
Tomorrow we're going to play Settlers in the afternoon! Wheee!
I came home and ran over to Max Valu for foodshopping. They appear to not have any more Kirin Gogonokocha straight tea ANYWHERE which is really messed up.
I found out that in order to order Fighters tickets through the Fan Club, I need my members card. The good news is the card is on the way. The bad news is they tried to deliver it Friday and Saturday afternoon and I wasn't home. I called tonight and I think I did the phone system properly to ask them to deliver it tomorrow morning. We'll see...

I need to sleep. Tomorrow night I might also see some semi-MLB action. Wheeeeee.
