Wednesday Boring Wednesday
Well, incase you couldn't guess, I made yakisoba for lunch. Mmm, yakisoba.
After that, I watched American Pie. I blame
tesposit because he said I sounded a lot like the chick who starts each story with "And then one time at band camp..." except that I never went to band camp. Hmm... so I'd never seen the movie before. It was interesting. Pretty well-done for a teen movie, really captured the whole inanity of it all. I couldn't quite figure out how the heck the four main guys were actually friends, but I guess the movie had to bring together four various stereotypes for it to work.
During the movie I started knitting socks for Eli. Whee!
After that I went to campus for a little. I had some bad games of pinball, and went to the lounge for a bit, watched some bridge and played a little bit of SimCity. Apparently everyone's playing through Final Fantasy 6 on John's computer now, and they decided I am Relm. I guess that's better than nothing. Whee.
Had dinner at "Dish", as Eli mentioned. It's this little italian place down off Carson and 17th. The bread was great, the tuna steak I had was great, the filet mignon Eli had was great, the desserts were great, etc... the only downside was that it was EXPENSIVE. I probably would have been just as happy spending 5 bucks on wings at Fatheads as I would have been spending 35 bucks on exquisite food at Dish. Oh well.
Now, um, home. I'm thinking of watching Sliding Doors since I picked that up yesterday at Target as well.

From what I can tell, the flute girl fakes playing the flute.
