This entry no substance
You know, it occurs to me that despite being a dorama junkie in America, I really haven't been watching them much here at all. I finished watching Liar Game last night, but aside from that and a few assorted things I caught on TV as they aired, like Sushi Oji or some random specials, or the morning reruns of old stuff, I really haven't seen much at all. Of course, I still recognize most people on TV anyway. Tonight I saw Takeuchi Yuko (the Lunch Queen) interviewing YUI on a random show; the other night Becky and other such talentos were hosting an Otsuka Ai TV concert; and 70% of the commercials on TV have Nakama Yukie in them anyway. It's pretty weird.
Today was okay, I guess. It's my least crowded day, so I spent an hour in the afternoon shopping at 100-yen shops for toys to use in my kids' class. Not that it mattered, as chaos still erupted, despite that my idea was actually a really good one. But, hey. I got lunch at the kaitensushi place I really like, and it was really good. On the other hand, the weather sucked today. It was freaking hot again. It's almost October, why are we still having days where it's in the upper 80's?
I'm getting a new student in Headways tomorrow, so that makes me happy at least. We'll see what they're like, I guess. I'm a little worried since we haven't gotten many new students and several current ones are thinking of leaving.
I'm being a big dumbass about something, but I don't really want to explain exactly what here. I just need to leave a note for myself reminding me that I'm being an idiot. It's not work-related or anything, don't worry.
I've been waking up at like 11:30am every day, which is bad, because I have to be at work at 10:30am in the morning today, so I think I'm going to go try to sleep; it's almost 2am. Then I have to go pray for no rain on Sunday when I trek down to Chiba, or I will cry.
