Monday -- Laundry and other assorted stuff
Monday I woke up and did laundry. It took me around 5 hours. I think next time I am going to go find a laundry bag and go over to the laundromat rather than trying to do everything in my washer, because it's a royal pain in the ass, especially on a day like today where it's warm but not obnoxiously hot enough to dry everything quickly. Plus I'm wondering if using a dryer will save me some ironing and lint-rolling, maybe?
Inbetween loads of laundry I spent my time writing all of these LJ entries for the last few days. I also ran to the supermarket to get some food (yay! more moyashi soba!) and to the post office to send off a check to T-Mobile for my final phone bill in America, and... and now I think I am going to go off to do random crap for the evening, just so I can get out of the apartment for a few hours. Hopefully I'll be hitting an internet cafe so I can actually post all of this shit at some point, even though I am also supposed to get internet tomorrow.
Oh, that's another story -- Kuroneko Yamato kept stopping by two days in a row to try to deliver the KDDI internet box thingy while I was at work. So all by myself I managed to call them up and explain my work schedule and have them show up Sunday morning at 10 with the box! Go me!
I left my house around 6pm and went down to Ochanomizu for some unknown reason. After wandering around for 15 minutes I decided it was silly (though there were many cool guitar stores) and I went to the Tokyo Dome, where I stopped by Yamashita as usual, read some magazines for a while, and bought a Koshien magazine and some packs of baseball cards. The idea is that I will continue buying 4 packs of cards per week until I get a Morino card. So there! I did pull a Kazumi Saitoh card though and a Kizuka, so I wasn't entirely unhappy, though...
I ended up coming back north and not doing much of anything -- stopping by the Y100 shop, getting kaitensushi at the crazy huge place nearby (this time I got to actually shove my plates down the counting chute!), and then coming to the internet cafe. I know, exciting. I think I need to go home and clean up my apartment a bit.
In theory I will get internet installed at home tomorrow morning. Cross fingers!
