on my way
writing from the phone at mile 190 of I-5. who is driving? carl is driving. oh no! how can this beee?
i stayed up most of the night packing. i guess i got about 90% done? but either way, i am on my way, so...
had the non-goodbye party. it probably kept me from packing fast, but at least i got to see people, so that was good.
i'll write more later.

However, a google search on "define: slappy" reveals that Slappy is, indeed, not a word:
Slappy (1990) is the second EP by Green Day, released on Lookout Records.

From experience, be prepared for a "low" once you've settled in after all of the excitement/stress of packing and moving followed by (possibly) culture shock. It sounds like you know people over there though, which should help (hopefully some are close by).
